Hose to small
I bought this to check my system for leaks by connecting to the meter. I have a brand new smart meter and the hose is too small to fit. If the hose was more pliable it may have been ok but it is very hard. I heated it with boiling water and it still didn't soften enough so it cut a bit out of the centre with a stanley blade, heated with a heat gun (carefully of course) and I just managed to get the hose on. The gauge itself is fine, works as it should. If the manufacturer reads feedback, use a more pliable material for the hose! I would have given this 5 stars if the hose was ok.

Simple and reliable.
Test equipment doesnt come any simpler than this - fill with water or proprietary fluid and your ready. It works and Id have given it 5 stars but for 2 things. Contrary to the description the water level cant be zeroed other than by trial and error, adding fluid or removing it ( more expensive gauges do this by an adjustment that involves compressing the tube thus displacing the fluid) . Secondly, the connecting tube - ok for appliances on a wall, useless for appliances at ground level, fires and the like. Surely a longer tube wouldnt have broke the bank.

Totally functional
This is my 2nd Monument test/pressure gauge as I lost my first one. It is a no frills totally functional manometer that should last for years with a little care. There is no need to buy expensive gauges this will do the job perfectly well. Some reviews mention the rubber tube being too short to use, but its main use is to retain the water in the gauge when it is not in use. Just buy a metre of tubing to connect the gauge to the appliance/metre.

Suitable to keep as a back up gauge
Difficult to zero its water level and fill it up with water compared to my old gauge, it seems that the gauges tube/inlet/outlet is not sized correctly to allow air to escape from the gauge itself causing these issues

Great product
Bought it to check gas system for lick in my house. Simple and effective way to double check if gas engineer did a good job ;) Regarding the rubber not being big enough as previous reviewers mention. Worm up the rubber before inserting it and problem solved :)

Best water manometer in an affordable price
No calibration or temperature compensation is needed, always working at the highest level of accuracy. Good quality, sturdy built. Highly recommended.

Leak detected
Did the job well and detected leak. However the piece of rubber attached to the gauge did not fit the test nipple. So had to spend 10 minutes reaming out the tube so the it would fit the test nipple. Probably easier to buy additional tubing.

tough and reliable
i brought this about 2 months ago, to replace an unreliable and expensive digital gas test gauge, i used to own one previous to this, they are tough reliable and without doubt a priceless bit of kit, plus you were cheaper than a competitor that is very similar to you
