Pros: -Small and convenient to use and carry - Tape fully retracts inside the unit when not is use - Can measure in Inches or Centimeters - Saves the last measurement taken of each body part Con's: None to speak of except that the instructions are in very tiny print. Make sure you wear your glasses. This nifty little unit can be taken out of the top of the packing easily and a quick slit in the bottom of the plastic allows for easy removal of the instructions (which are in very small print). My biggest question about this device was answered when seeing that the tape is removed from one end so -

This was a purchase I made to assist me in tracking my weight loss as I go by size changes not weight. It makes taking measurements alone a breeze. The screen is large enough to be able to easily read and it remembers the last measurements taken, so you can always write them down later if you want. It is compact and lightweight, so you can take it with you anywhere. My only complaint is that the little post that holds the tape in place sometimes sticks, making it difficult to remove. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to take their own measurements on a regular basis.
