Procellera

Procellera Wound Care

Procellera is a one layer Bioelectric Wound Dressing with both silver and zinc ingrained into a polyester. The combination allows tissue regeneration while deterring bacterias like beta-lactamase (ESBL), multidrug resistant (MDR), and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). Procellera reacts when in contact with wound fluids. It creates continuous microcurrents that act as an electrical shield, enabling the cell displacement that triggers the healing process.

Prosit, the technology behind Procellera Wound Dressing, is a cell matrix that generates electrical discharges that mimic normal body responses vital to spark cell regeneration or epithelialization. Prosit also creates a clean environment forcing microbes onto Procellera’s silver through pure physics: causing negative charges to connect with positive ones. In doing so microbes cannot oxygenate and die. Lastly, Prosit speeds wound recovery and fading of scar marks.

Wound Healing Through Electro Simulation

Electro stimulation has proven effective in the treatment of muscles damaged from trauma, or disabled from paralyzing conditions such as strokes and cerebral palsy. Electro or bioelectric wound dressings have been pursued without much success during the past three decades. Procellera today represents a serious alternative to wound care after having delivered optimal results in various clinical studies. Its technology brings unique wound healing and antimicrobial properties.

Procellera Wound Indications

Procellera is indicated for acute (lacerations, full thickness, and surgical incissions), and chronic wounds (diabetic and varicose ulcers). Additionally, it is used for skin grafting procedures, and Negative Pressure Wound and Multi-Layered Compression therapies.

As a preferred Procellera-Vomaris distributor, StomaBags is a able to provide low pricing in the full Procellera line.
