Nu-Hope Ostomy Supplies & Hernia Belts
Nu-Hope first began to manufacture ostomy supplies in 1958. Since then, it has developed a complete product portfolio that includes colostomy, ileostomy and urostomy bags, skin barriers, wafers, flanges, rings, and ostomy accessories.
Nu-Hope's Foray Into Hernia Belts
Recognizing that ostomy patients were predisposed towards developing parastomal hernias (at times wrongly referred as peristomal hernias), Nu-Hope expanded its portfolio beyond ostomy bags to include ostomy hernia belts and ostomy support belts. Nowadays Nu-Hope has the largest and, according to ostomy professionals, the best assortment of ostomy hernia belts available in the market. Nu-Hope belts come in multiple height and hole sizes, varied hole placements, and different materials to suit any stoma type and just about any parastomal hernia stage.
Nu-Hope has developed a reputation for innovation through years of close interaction with Enterostomal Therapy Nurses (ETN) and ostomy patients. As a result, all ostomy supplies are designed with the needs and requirements of the specific condition in mind (colostomy, leostomy, urostomy, parastomal hernias), and represent a unique, affordable and effective solution.

Nu-Hope Belt Styles
Can supports non-reducible Hernias and peristomal hernias around the abdomen, whether at the site of the stoma or adjacent to the stoma. The belt elastic forms conforms around bulges and other body shapes more naturally and comes with a sturdy beige belt ring (for better peristomal hernia support).
Designed for pouch support, helps to minimize hernia formation and for small reducible Hernias. The original support belt with a soft blue ring is placed in a non-stretch panel. It flattens small bulges and helps protect hernia repairs.
