Easy to install
Regalo Swing Down Bed Rail Guard does do what it is supposed to do but it not ideal for cribs conversions. I bought this thinking it would work for my son's crib that he used when he was a baby and wanted to turn it into a toddler bed. The prices as always at walmart.com are the best. I did not expect the delivery to be so quick it arrived before it's scheduled date. Once taking it out of the box it was very easy to assemble. There are written instructions in more than one language alongside with pictures, which makes the process of putting it together that more simpler. I in fact do believe t

Great bed rail
I purchased this Regalo Swing Down Bed Rail Guard with Reinforced Anchor Safety System for my youngest son who just went to his first twin bed. I opened the box and the instructions for set up were easy to understand. I was finished putting the bed rail together in under five minutes with no difficulties at all. We put it under his mattress and set the anchor straps to the width of his twin mattress and hooked the anchors onto the other side. This is a good feature because it keeps the bed rail from sliding out at all. I love the 43 inch length of this bed rail since it covers a lot of the len

Good enough to keep, nice cheap option
We've been using it for about 2 weeks. It was easy to put together. Note that it requires a box spring to hold securely. We don't have one but it seems to be okay. The material is already wearing, though, on the frame so that's disappointing. So far it works on our top bunk under a foam mattress. We'll keep it b/c our top bunker doesn't move too much and I think it'll work as long as the material holds out. Hopefully by then he'll be ok without it.

Should do the job!
I wanted the extra long bedrails and I needed two because the bed is not next to a wall. Regalo does not offer the double rail in the extra long length, so I decided to order two of the single rails. I was able to successfully set up the bed with two rails but I don't think it was designed for two. I think if you need two rails, the better option is the shorter double rail that Regalo offers. The rails are not 20" high as advertised, which is disappointing. My mattress is a double sided pillow top, so the rails are maybe six inches higher than the mattress. It is enough to probably keep the ch

Do you have a box spring? If not, then don't buy
You really need a box spring to connect it securely but we're using it to keep our old dog from falling off the end of the bed (not the side as designed) and we removed both connecting arms because we don't have a box spring. I used velcro to secure the bed frame. I needed it today so I went to a Walmart that had it in stock. And I was charged $38.96 plus tax. During Covid I paid just to get out of the store.

I just put this on my bed today. Both of my kids want to sleep in the bed so I needed something to keep them from the edge. I have a king size bed and the straps will not reach all the way across. It's definitely for a smaller bed. It will fit a queen or smaller. We put it between the twin box springs in the middle of the bed. So we shall see how it holds up. Other than the straps not reaching it seems to be great! I read one review that said it was tall for a pillow top mattress but it comes up really high on my pillow top.

Two ways to use this piece... Great buy....
Love this for when my grandson sleeps over as no worries about him rolling off the bed. Also, for myself when I put my headlamp, phone etc. next to me and it does not fall off the bed in the middle of the night... Keeps my covers from falling off onto the floor. Love it Only negative was the piece that fits on top of the box spring has a piece that attaches to the other side of the box spring sometimes I run into it. So I make sure my comforter is covering it....

Hard to say I'd ever recommend this product.
This product is EXTREMELY difficult to set up and it sits at a slanted angle twords the bed. The brackets to hold it on the bed don't stay in place very well and the straps you use to make it tight loosen up rather easily........ im truly not impressed and wish i would have just got one off Amazon instead!!! Only giving a 4 stars so people see this....

Not sturdy enough. Wobbles.
Easy to put together, but still a little wobbly. I even tied the rest of it to the frame to try and make it more sturdy. Its long and looks nice, but not sturdy enough. And when I pull it, it leaves a gap. That could be a safety concern. A child could get caught in that

Only took 10 minutes to assemble and install by myself. No tools were needed. Has latches so it can be standing up when needed and lay down flat by flipping the two latches when ready to make the bed. Has simple ratchet straps built in to help anchor it from opposite side of the bed. Straps go beneath the mattress to hold in place and are long enough to reach over a long size matress. Slack is easily drawn up in straps to suit bed size. I tucked extra strap length under the mattress to keep out of the way. I have a really thick bed with pillow top made onto it along with two extra mattress pad

Works Best Without Bed Frame Side Rails.....
*The product is sturdy, plenty big, easy to assemble, and a great deal. *If you took the product apart, which wouldn't be too hard to do, you could wash the mesh/nylon material. *Ugly blue printing of "warnings" all over one side of the guard rail material, above the mesh area, but you can just be sure to put that on the side that you don't want to see. *Almost pointless "swing down", as it doesn't come all the way down, so I'm not sure why you would "swing it down". You can't sit on the bed with it in "swing down" mode. A small child couldn't crawl out of the bed over the "swing down" mode, b

Perfect.... I purchased this for my bed due to the fact that my 15 yr old chihauaus sleeps with me and has just recently started to get up in the middle of the night and walk right off the edge Gives me great comfort to know she is now safe sleeping with me without the danger of falling. She seems to understand it works as of the last couple of nights she lays again the mess. Very sturdy... Great value.

Keeps my son from rolling out of bed
I'm so glad I bought this. It works perfectly and does exactly what it needs to every night (and at nap time). My 3 year old rolled out of his bed three times before I got this (safely landed on pillows I laid out to protect him). Now, I watch him on our video monitor, roll right up against this all the time. It'll take all his weight pushing on it and still hold up. That's all I cared about and all I needed. But it's even better than that because it has really easy locks to open and close, which I use every night, unlock, fold down so I can get in bed with him and read him a book, get out, fo

Good product!
Bought this as a foot guard rail, for our little dog, that sleeps on the foot of our bed. It fit corner to corner, on our queen size bed. It is plenty sturdy enough to hold her. She won't try to jump off, but had fallen off one night, getting out of her blanket. The bed is high, and we were lucky she didn't get hurt to bad, just a bit sore for a couple days. She is 16 years old, and we do our best to keep her safe. This will help a lot. So gal to have found it.

Great price, really sturdy piece
We're using this a bit differently, as our kiddo has a loft bed. So we've set it up inside the bars of the bed to help her feel more secure. In this way, it can't be swung down, so I can't tell you anything about that but it's serving it's purpose for her. Huge peace of mind.

Very Good Product - Needs One Mod
Great rails - very sturdy, easy to assemble and a clean fold-down operation. However my application was a stand-alone twin bed needing rails on both sides. The rails come designed for "single-side" application with two plastic anchors on the other side of the bed connected to the rail by straps running under the mattress. I wanted to interconnect the two side rails without employing the 4 plastic anchors otherwise required for two single-side applications. But to do that, I had to cut the straps in violation of the warning that doing so would cause the straps to begin unraveling at the cut (wh

Perfect Solution for my Dog!
I purchased this bed rail for my queen bed. My 14 yr old doggie sleeps next to me and kept falling off the bed. So I purchased this hoping it would fit my bed. I was able to put the hook across under my mattress to clamp on the other side. Since I have a high mattress the rail only goes up about a foot. But this is good. He hasn't fallen out of bed since.

Excellent for small child
i was looking for a sturdy product to prevent my 6 yr. old from falling out of bed. I chose this one based off of others reviews and I am very pleased with it. The overall construction of the safety bed rail is fantastic, it it made with hollow metal tubes, with a mesh type off material that goes over the top. It took 2 adults to attach this to the bed quickly, although one person could do it in minimal amount of time. I would highly recommend this safety bed rail to anyone. Prevents sleeping child rolling off bed.
Easy to assemble. Tucks under mattress. Keeps my almost 2-year-old grandson from falling off a twin bed. He climbs out of cribs and this keeps him safe while sleeping in a regular bed. He can still exit the bed as the bedrail isn't as long as the mattress but he won't roll off while sleeping. One side of the bed is tucked against a wall and the other has the bedrail attached. Not sure I'll use the flip down part of this bedrail; it's easier to just lift the child up and over.

Not high enough for an active sleeper.
This is a great product, worth the money and easy to assemble. The problem we have is that my grandson is a very active sleeper and our mattress is super thick which only left about 5" of railing above the mattress. The way he moves and crawls in his sleep he could easily go over the top of it. Also on a queen size bed it will take three people to place it properly between the mattress and box spring. One to hold mattress up, one to hold rail in place and one to take the straps to the opposite side of the bed from the rail. We did keep it though to use in the future because it is such a nice s

Good product for box spring style bed
This is a good product for a box spring style bed. It seems it was made for a bed that is a box spring with a mattress on top from the instructions in the manual. We used it on a hi-riser and a metal bed and we had trouble fitting it on. The issue is is that the rail has straps that come from the metal ends of the rail that tuck under the bed that are supposed to go until the end of the box spring and then the mattress is supposed to be placed on top. What happens is without a box spring (which is flat) those straps fall and move around. Also this is obvious but the rail does tuck in under the

Works for Bunk Bed
I purchased this to put on the top bunk of a bed...I wanted something a little higher than what came as the standard rail with the bed because I have a little person sleeping in it. For that reason, it's perfect! It's long enough to cover 75% of the twin bed and it's WAY higher than what came originally on it. I love the extra safety that it offers. It was fairly easy assemble, but it was hard to put on the bunk bed. There are two "ropes" that are connected to the rail that extend from the bottom of the rail across the bed and on each end had a bulkier piece that fits on the end of each side.

Well my wife bought one somewhere and it worked good while his bed was from a crib to a DayBed at this point, So He"s 3Yrs. + 3 Mths. Old now. We got him a full mattress set So I had to get another same brand and this one is 8 in. longer. When he slept between us he would almost roll over me onto the floor, So these work the have hooks and straps that go to the other side of mattress to stay in place. Don"t try to use these on pillowtop style bed mattress to thick and this railing just is not tall enough, Only for regular mattress very happy cheaper than the Store,THANKS
