    Used to secure a Narrow Boat Chimney "Coolie Hat" With the recent very windy weather a number of Coolie hats were blown off. As it is sometimes necessary to remove the hat for bridges or tunnels it does not want to be too permanently attached to the chimney. By putting the "legs" down outside the chimney and securing with a Jubilee clip, a couple of turns with a screwdriver and it can be slipped off and as easily replaced. The screw mechanism needed a little dash of WD40 to ease it on its way.
