The product was better than I imagined. My wife finds that it helps her immensely in getting seated and standing up.

That said, these are quite satisfactory for both immediate, short term critical care and for training purposes. In the training role, they can be easily washed, refolded and repacked in the individual bags quite easily.

I have a problem with my left elbow, as it gets dry and cracked when I lean on it, and I'm right handed so what does that tell you? Medline has the best cushion I can find, to aid in helping me heal my left elbow and keep it from getting raw again.

I have not used these yet, but they are individually wrapped and come just as described. The material looks rather thin, and I am not sure how well they will actually hold up if I were to use one as an improvised arm sling, etc. The weaves in the material are so scarce that you can see the "holes" created from the loose weaving. I am not familiar with how one of these bandages should be made, however, so that may very well be the best way to make these bandages.

My pump seemed to be losing suction. I'd had my membranes for a while, so I knew that while it could be the motor going out (my pump is powering through the second kiddo), I may just need new membranes. These increased the suction so much that I had to turn the suction on the machine down from where I usually have it, so I'd say they work even better than the Medela brand. They seem thicker and less likely to warp as quickly, so maybe that's why. I will buy more of these when I need to, and save money over the pricier Medela ones.

As a retired Navy Corpsman I would not hesitate a bit to use these for holding sterile bandage (these are NOT sterile themselves) to head or torso where adhesive tape is not a good option especially if some pressure for control of bleeding is concerned. They also work well for immobilizing separated / sprained elbow or shoulder and sprained / broken ankle. They are also very satisfactory for SHORT term use as arm sling if treatment in medical facility is going to be available in a few hours. I have tested them also on immobilizing lower leg and arm fractures by using opposite limb as the splint and they are actually preferably to adhesive sports tape for this purpose if two are used as much easier to adjust degree of "tightness".
