    Love These DaVinci Ultra Smooth Panels

    I'm an abstract artist and work with all kinds of mixed media. These panels work well with everything I use. They're especially nice for inks and fluid acrylics. If you want a nice clean smooth look (which I tend to lean towards) you'll love these panels. I still use canvas but love the feel and look of playing with mixed media on the DaVinci Ultra Smooths! I don't even paint the edges. I really like the minimalist look it gives my work.

    I have tried numerous painting options Including various ready to use panels (canvas, other hardboard brands, fabric on aluminum) and my own panels (gessoed plywood, fabric glued to plywood, hardboard and aluminum). I find the DaVinci panels are great because I can just unwrap them, stain the cradle with India ink and start painting. They are very well made. It's only been a few weeks but so far I'm finding the medium textured panels great for oil painting.
