Ethicon Coated VICRYL Plus Antibacterial (polyglactin 910) Suture is a synthetic absorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. It contains Irgacare MP (triclosan), a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent that helps prevent biofilm formation and inhibits bacterial colonization on the suture surface. It is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
