Product Overview

Owen Mumford Neurotips NT 5405 – Neurological Examination Pins Sterile Disposable

The Owen Mumford Neurotips NT 5405 are sterile, single-use neurological examination pins designed for safe and precise sensory testing. Compatible with the Neuropen, these pins allow clinicians to assess sensitivity loss by applying a calibrated force of 40g to the skin. The interchangeable monofilament tips (10g in white or 15g in red) enable repeatable pressure application, aiding in accurate mapping of sensory deficits.

Features:
- Sterile and disposable, eliminating cross-infection risks.
- Reduces the risk of accidental skin puncture.
- Interchangeable monofilament tips (10g white, 15g red).
- Works with Neuropen for controlled 40g force application.
- Ideal for detecting decreased sharpness sensation.

Specifications:
- Single-use design.
- Compatible with Neuropen.
- Calibrated force: 40g.
- Monofilament options: 10g (white), 15g (red).

Suggested Use:
For neurological assessments, attach the desired monofilament to the Neuropen and gently apply to the test site. The calibrated force ensures consistent pressure, helping identify sensory impairments in patients. Dispose of the pin after each use to maintain sterility.

Simple and effective, colours are useful

Quite expensive but a more professional alternative to a tongue depressor broken in half for sharp/soft sensation testing. Colours are useful for visual field testing.

    Perfect for 'dull/sharp' dermatome tests
