This ice bag has been wonderful. I had surgery and needed to ice the area for pain management. I thought I could get by with the zip lock type plastic bags but they were frustrating and the ice melted within 1 hour. I wondered if they still sold the old fashion ice bags we had as kids and found this on Walmart.com. I order it and in 2 days had it! It has been sooo much easier to use and the ice bag is re-useable. It's flexible to cover most areas, it has not leaked, it has not sweated and it stays cold for at least 3-4 hours so I can use it during sleep and not have to wake up every hour to re -

This is the best ice bag ever!!! I have been using the same bag since 2014 after multiple major surgeries. It is actually huge when expanded (holds 50-60 ice cubes). Ice usually lasts all night long. Even if the ice melts, the residual water is still cold in the morning. Fabric is thick enough I have been able to use it directly on my skin (although always use caution). One of the best features is that the outside does not sweat as I have experienced with other ice bags. The cap has small curved "wings" that make it easier to grasp to open and close (not obvious in the product photos). I have
