Best for k9 kits, pediatric, geriatric patients

SWAT-T has numerous documented saves on pediatric and geriatric patients. Its also the only one really effective for k9 applications. They can also be used in conjunction with gauze/cloth/etc. as a pressure dressing, sort of an improvised Israeli bandage. Add one to your bleeder kits and thank me later. -

They are easy to carry and are versatile. It is harder to place than the webbing tourniquets but have the option of being a functional part of a pressure dressing. I keep one of each type of tourniquet in my trauma kit. Think, if you need one, have two dogma.
