Decent cushion a tad heavy

Fits our 18" wheelchair perfectly and works very well. the gel foam doesn't bounce back as much as I had expected based on other products used previously. So need to flip it occasionally. Also significantly heavier than previous cushion but I think it provides a bit more padding/support than the old one. The extra weight is noticeable when moving the wheelchair with wheels locked etc. It was significantly less expensive than others we looked at so form, fit and function for the price are very good -

Firmer than expected, but this turned out to be helpful when boosting a chair that was too soft. Top (blue) surface smooth which also was desired, easier to slide forward when you want to get up, but not enough to slip off otherwise. Bottom a little grippy which helps it stay in place. Pad is surprisingly heavy which makes the loop useful for carrying. On a really hard chair (wheelchair etc.) this would provide just modest cushioning, which might be better for longterm use. It will not flatten as much as a softer cushion might. I am glad we tried this cushion, as we found a good use for it.
