In the past, I had purchased a two inch mattress topper and I became very disappointed quickly. It flattened almost immediately and I was left with an uncomfortable bed once again. With this mattress topper, I have been very happy. It arrived quickly and though it was packed tightly, after laid flat, it did not take long before it was at it's full depth. I definitely recommend the four inch topper because it is thick enough to make the hardest bed softer. It does flatten a bit when in use but springs back to the full depth before the next use. This is excellent product. I am in constant pain in hips and knees. This brought immediate relief to both these areas. really helped to sleep. Now, if I could just find something to give me longer periods of time to sleep ! I have cut this topper in half, and placed it on my bed, the size is just perfect.
