I ordered the shelves because they are very heavy duty, sturdy, and large enough to hold all of my camping and automotive gear. I have stored all of my gear in the garage for years (an unfinished garage that's hot in the summer and cold in the winter and occasionally if something was tightly up against the wall with no air circulating it might end up with a very light spot of mold. Likewise for my damp basement and the wooden furniture I had in it. After a while the legs on the furniture might need to be wiped because of a very light mold on them. Overall, this is a great product that I am very satisfied with. I had one minor issue that the manufacturer addressed immediately, and there is one other minor aspect that I would recommend others to consider before buying it. I ordered 4 of these shelving units. At the time of this review I have constructed 2 of them and I think they are going to work out great. They all delivered within a few days in 2 shipments. The boxes were very heavy, so they were kind of beat up, and unfortunately one box was damaged so badly that a critical part had fallen out during shipment. The manufacturer (Edsal)
