In life, we all have something go wrong as we get old. Mine is edema of foot and lower leg, but it progresses upward. Upper leg now too. But tubi grip has elastic that leaves itchy indentations into your skin, so order some stockinette to put underneath the tubigrip, and the indentations are left into the cotton stockinette instead, cuts down big time, the itchies. Together they do the compression and make life easier because surgery is not effective, only worse and compression means are still best recommendation by doctors, so just do the compression first, minus many games. My mom is 86 years old and her knee replacement is loosening up and causing her pain. She kept talking about tubular bandage she got from knee surgery dr. and how well that felt but stretched out and was thrown away. I bought this for her and she says nothing but great things about the gentle support it gives from below the ankle to above the knee. She is very happy with it and I bought her a second pair for when she washes the first pair. If mom is happy then I am happy too
