Like the title says, this was not 90 when I purchased it. I did some checking when I got home, first did the comparison with other squares and found differences. So Ivdfvadfvadfvadfv checked everything I had. This ended up being out 0.2 (this works out to being out 1/16" (.064") on the short leg and almost 3/32" (~.084") on the long leg. Even for framing work this is to far off in my opinion. The length marking are close but some are off by as much as 1/64" (I think this is due to the accuracy of the laser marking equipment). The angle I was able to correct by dimpling by the heal to get it ba -
Out of square by nearly 1/16" over 24" = unacceptable

This is what I get for assuming... I've used this square for stair treads, layout on cabinets, measuring for various jigs, and then the other day I used to line up my track saw for a crosscut. After checking my cut, I realized that something was off. I scribed a line on a straight edge of plywood, then flipped my square and scribed another line side by side, and found nearly an 1/8" out from top of bottom. :( Disappointed, but since track saw setup is not the job of a carpenter square, I'll let it slide. That being said, I went to my local HD and compared the new Milwaukee carpenter square to
